In his remarks, Mr. Tony Dinh emphasized that amid the global economic shift toward technological innovation, green transition, and sustainable development, the Plastics and Rubber industry continues to affirm its important role in industrial manufacturing value chains and modern life.

According to Mr. Tony Dinh, Vietnam’s plastics industry currently has more than 6,000 enterprises, employs over 300,000 workers, and is gradually affirming its position as one of ASEAN’s key plastics manufacturing hubs. In 2025, the industry’s revenue was estimated at USD 34.3 billion, up nearly 10% compared to 2024, while plastics export turnover reached nearly USD 10 billion. Vietnamese plastic products are now present in more than 190 countries and territories.

Alongside these positive results, Vietnam’s plastics industry is also facing increasingly demanding requirements in technology, environmental standards, circular economy practices, and global supply chain participation. In response to the trends of green transition and sustainable development, plastics enterprises need to continue investing in advanced technologies, improving production efficiency, promoting circular economy models, and strengthening competitiveness to meet the requirements of both domestic and international markets.

In this context, HanoiPlas 2026 serves not only as a platform to showcase advanced technologies, machinery, equipment, materials, and auxiliary products, but also as a forum for business connection, investment cooperation, experience sharing, and updates on the latest development trends of the industry.

Through 14 editions, HanoiPlas has contributed to strengthening connections between domestic and international enterprises, expanding opportunities for cooperation, investment, and market development. The exhibition also provides a meaningful platform for Vietnamese plastics enterprises in general, and Stavian Group in particular, to enhance competitiveness, deepen international integration, and contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s plastics industry in the new phase.
